This quick guide shows you how to fund your wallet, the available methods, and what to watch out for when making deposits.
You can fund your wallet in two ways:
Crypto (USDT – BEP20 network only)
Local Currency (Naira)
1. Depositing with USDT (Crypto)
Open the Gowagr app → Go to Wallet.
If on the Naira wallet, switch to USD first.
Select USDT Wallet → Fund with USDT.
Copy your wallet address (BEP20 only) or scan the QR code.
Transfer USDT from your crypto app.
Your balance updates once the transfer is successful.
Important:
Only USDT (BEP20) is supported. Using another coin or network may cause delays (5–7 days) or loss of funds.
Always confirm the wallet address before sending.
2. Depositing with Naira
Open the Gowagr app → Go to Wallet.
If on the USD wallet, switch to Naira first.
Select Naira Wallet → Deposit.
Enter the deposit amount.
A virtual bank account will be generated.
Transfer from your bank app to the account provided.
Funds will reflect in your balance after payment.
Important:
A 1% fee applies to all deposits. This fee is charged by the payment providers not Gowagr.
Each virtual account can only be used once.
Reusing an account may cause a double deposit. Refunds usually take between immediately to 7 days.
