What are H2H Wagers?
Head-to-Head (H2H) wagers are one of the most exciting ways to compete on Gowagr. The idea is simple: two players place their stakes, and the winner takes the payout. You can wager on almost anything: from real-life events to one-on-one online games such as eFootball or CODM. You can either create your own wager or join one that someone else has set up.
How to Access H2H Wagers
Open the Gowagr App and click on the H2H tab in the menu bar.
You’ll see two main sections:
Home Tab: shows your active wagers.
History Tab: displays your past wagers, organized into active, pending, and completed.
Creating a Wager
Tap the Create Wager button at the bottom of the page.
Select a category and add a hashtag to make your wager discoverable.
Fill in the details:
Title
Terms and conditions (including criteria for resolution)
Stake amount (minimum ₦1,000 or $1)
Review your wager before publishing.
Invite others by entering their unique WagrTag or sharing the invite link.
Joining a Wager
Go to the Marketplace section on the H2H page.
Browse wagers created by others, filtering by category or hashtag.
Use the chatroom to clarify the wager’s terms before joining.
Once you’re satisfied, click Accept and Join to participate.
