What You Should Know About the Trades Tab

Updated over a week ago

The Trades Tab has three key sections: Explore, Portfolio, and Activity.

  • Explore: Browse all available trades and their categories.

  • Portfolio: Track your current trades, monitor performance, and manage your positions.

  • Activity: Review your complete trading history.

Portfolio Tab

Your Portfolio gives you a real-time overview of your holdings and potential outcomes.

What the Portfolio Shows

  • Total Value: The combined worth of all shares you currently hold.

  • Cashout Value: How much you’d receive if you sold your shares at current prices.

  • Potential Payout: The maximum you could earn if the market resolves in your favor.

  • Profit/Loss Estimate: How much you’re currently up or down based on market activity.

How Portfolio Value Changes

Your Portfolio updates constantly as market prices shift:

  • If your outcome becomes more likely → share values rise.

  • If your outcome becomes less likely → share values fall.

Example

  • You buy ₦1,000 of “Yes” at ₦50 → 20 shares.

  • You buy ₦2,000 more of “Yes” at ₦60 → 33.3 shares.

  • Portfolio shows 53.3 shares total.

  • If price rises to ₦70 → value increases (+₦10 per share, ~+5%).

  • If price drops to ₦30 → value decreases (~-₦400, -70%).

Tips for Managing Your Portfolio

  • Track regularly: Prices can move quickly.

  • Have an exit plan: Know when to hold and when to cash out.

  • Read rules: Each market has unique resolution guidelines.

Activity Tab

The Activity Tab is your permanent record of all trading actions. Here you can:

  • Track every trade, including what you bought or sold, at what price, and the exact date/time.

  • View payouts from resolved markets.

  • Revisit market summaries and rules to confirm resolution outcomes or raise disputes.

Note: Activity records cannot be deleted. This ensures full transparency and an accurate history of your trading.
